About the PDF toolkit
Most people land here for one job: turn a PDF into a Word file they can edit. The other tools exist so the next job — freeze it again, merge packets, shrink an attachment, pull a table into Excel, or read a scan — stays in the same place.
The core path
PDF to Word is the start when you need to change text. Word to PDF is the finish when the layout must stay still for email or print. Between those two sit Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, and Organize PDF for packets, size, and page order.
Who it is for
A syllabus that arrived as PDF. A contract that needs a redline. A photo of a receipt that a portal wants as PDF. A spreadsheet trapped in a scanned report. You do not need to install Word, Excel, or Acrobat to convert. You only need those apps later if you want to keep editing the download.
How the tools fit
Convert from PDF when the file is only a snapshot. Convert to PDF when you are ready to send. Organize when pages are in the wrong order. Compress when email rejects the size. Protect, unlock, watermark, and redact when the file should be harder to copy or easier to mark. OCR and Scan PDF to Word when you cannot select the text with your cursor.
What we do not promise
Magazines and infographics may not land as clean Word or Excel. Always open the result before you send a legal or school file. We do not unlock a PDF unless you type a password you already know. Uploads are removed within about an hour — save your own copy.
